Rare, historic 1966 Early Allman sessions from pre-Allman Brothers Band’s Duane and Gregg Allman, including takes on “Spoonful” and “Gotta Get Away,” available on vinyl for the first time in 45 years! Mastered in 2019 from the original Dial/Mercury analog master tapes by Tom Lewis at Jim Hawkins’ Studio 1093 in Athens, Georgia, cut by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, and pressed at Record Technology Inc. It’s certainly compelling to hear the music mavericks in this light!
