Description

acob Miller’s classic collection of the legendary Augustus Pablo sessions was recorded wayback at Randy’s and Dynamic studios, voiced and mixed at King Tubby’s studio. In 1974 – 1975, Jacob Miller recorded a series of 7-Inch singles with the producer and melodica player Augustus Pablo for the emerging Rockers label, each vocal paired with a Pablo dub instrumental, including the top tunes “Baby I Love You So” and its dub companion “King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown”. This LP collection was first issued by Greensleeves in 1992 and represents some of the strongest roots reggae of the mid-1970s in a showcase style, that features both the vocals and the dub version in sequence. This edition comes with the original sleeve notes by Ian McCann, new label prints and was remasterd by Kevin Metcalfe.
