Reken daar gerust Springtime bij, een supergroep met drie grootheden van de hedendaagse Aussie scene: Gareth Liddiard (Tropical Fuck Storm, The Drones), Dirty Three superdrummer Jim White en Chris Abrahams van The Necks. Deze briljante vanzelfsprekende combinatie is een soort toon experiment met een meditatie inslag die de absurditeit van het moderne leven feilloos blootlegt. In de mix o.a. free jazz en schrijnende lyriek die doet denken aan de Ierse dichter Ian Duhig (de oom van Liddiard trouwens). Grotendeels via nothingness improvisatie cree\u00ebren ze een wrang beeld van een verlamde wereld op de rand van een zenuwinzinking. Wat zeg je van die \u2018West Palm Beach\u2019 Will Oldham cover.
