Unifying the core trio of Herr General Cerastes, Svartravn &amp; DrBest, \u2018Planet Satan\u2019 was released in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>A work of intense &amp; otherworldly black metal power injected with Mysticum\u2019s strong cosmic, satanic &amp; psychedelic overtones, \u2018Planet Satan\u2019 welcomed Mysticum to the new millennium with full &amp; unrelenting force, whilst retaining the core elements which made the Norwegians pioneering legends of industrial black metal. Both infernal &amp; nihilistic, as well as apocalyptic in its scope &amp; execution, \u2018Planet Satan\u2019 became a new milestone for the genre in its sublime, chaotic ferocity. Primitive minor-chord riff patterns &amp; tortured vocals mixed with the band\u2019s manic &amp; often unconventional programmed drumbeats make this an eerily hypnotic work of the darkest order.<\/p>\n<p>The album was recorded &amp; mixed at Fias Co. Studios with producer Sverre D\u00e6hli &amp; mastered by Tom Kv\u00e5lsvoll at Strype Audio in Oslo.<\/p>\n<p>Emerging in the early 1990\u2019s, Mysticum brought to the world a completely unique brand of psychedelic discordant black metal with insane drum machine patterns &amp; synths.
