{"id":45525,"date":"2024-03-21T13:09:51","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T12:09:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vinylgrove.nl\/?post_type=product&#038;p=45525"},"modified":"2026-02-17T16:22:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T15:22:06","slug":"isengard-2","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/vinylgrove.nl\/index.php\/product\/isengard-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Isengard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Release:\u00a0 02-10-2020<\/p>\n<p>After a period of 25 long years since Isengard\u2019s last studio output, and having recently unearthed a set of tracks from his own archive of material recorded back in those early glory days, this new series of tracks &#8211; which were thought to be lost &#8211; follow on from some of the metal last heard on 1994\u2019s \u2018Vinterskugge\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018V\u00e5rjevnd\u00f8gn\u2019 is a monumental journey of epic heavy metal mixed with a often more sombre doomy rock\/metal atmosphere bringing to mind bands like US heavy metal veterans Pentagram, &amp; also includes 2 tracks previously only heard on the limited \u2018Traditional Doom Cult\u2019 7\u201d Peaceville release from 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Everything on \u2018V\u00e5rjevnd\u00f8gn\u2019 was performed and engineered by Fenriz himself. The tracks were all recorded between 1989 &amp; 1993 using the infamous Necrohell Studios, notable for recording Darkthrone\u2019s classic \u2018Transilvanian Hunger\u2019 &amp; \u2018Panzerfaust\u2019 albums. \u2018V\u00e5rjevnd\u00f8gn\u2019 was mastered by Jack control at Enormous Door.<\/p>\n<p>The booklet includes liner notes from Fenriz explaining the origins of the release, the recording process, &amp; some background into his influences at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Tracklist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">1.
