David was a songwriters songwriter.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Texas he moved to Europe an wrote wonderful songs.<\/p>\n<p>He was appreciated by the likes of Lucinda Williams and Butch Hancock and he shared stages with Townes van Zandt, John Prine, Blaze Foley and many more, thus creating a cult status for himself within americana and roots communities.<\/p>\n<p>Rise and Shine was recorded with Dutch band The Rhythm Chiefs shortly before he died in 2015. Now, almost 10 years after his passing, these 9 songs where (as in many of his songs) his Mexican roots shine through, will be released on an album that will hopefully add to the legacy of his work,<\/p>\n<p>Tracklist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1.
