Description
Expected: Mid July 2021
“Strange Cousins From The West” is the ninth full-length studio album by Clutch from July 2009, and it was the first self release on the band’s self-owned record label Weathermaker Music. It was produced by the legendary J. Robbins, who previously worked with Clutch on “Robot Hive / Exodus” and The Bakerton Group’s “El Rojo”. “Strange Cousins From The West” is also available as double vinyl deluxe set in a gatefold sleeve!
“They’ve metamorphosed from stoner rock weirdos to practitioners of a mighty cool blend of blues, rock, and metal, developing a reputation as one of the most consistent heavy rock bands in America.”
(Adrian Begrand, Popmatters)
“Strange Cousins” recaptures the RobotRobot energy, but is undeniably a blues-funk groove record, start to finish.”
(Johnny Firecloud, antiquiet)
